Seeking Closure is Not Biblical- Finding True Healing in God

Many people believe closure is the key to healing after heartbreak, but Scripture shows otherwise. The Bible never calls us to return to the source of our pain for resolution. Instead, God Himself provides healing, direction, and peace. True closure isn’t found in people—it’s found in trusting the One who holds your future.

Miracle Assembly

Gracie

Texas, USA.

My name is Grace, and I had the privilege of meeting Jojo during my time in the military. Through her ministry, God reached into my life in a way I never imagined.

I was wandering, uncertain, and broken, but the Lord met me right where I was. Today I can truly say, “I was lost, but now I am found.”

One moment that marked me forever was when Jojo prophesied that I would become pregnant. At the time, I carried so much doubt and could not see that promise ever coming true for me. But God is faithful. He brought that word to life, and now I have the joy and blessing of a wonderful son, David. Just as the Bible says, “For no word from God will ever fail” (Luke 1:37), His promise came to pass in my life.

This transformation has not only touched me but has also overflowed into my family. Today we gather every week for Bible study, and those moments have drawn us closer to each other and, most importantly, closer to God.

I will forever be grateful for the way God used Jojo as a vessel to minister, to prophesy, and to help unlock the blessings that He had prepared for me. All the glory belongs to Him for the incredible change He has brought into my heart, my home, and my future.

Faith and Sasha

Nairobi, Kenya

I first met Jojo through my sister Grace. At that time, I was working on a project in tree seedling propagation. I had invested my time, resources, and energy, yet nothing seemed to work out.

It was during that sea.son of discouragement that Jojo ministered to me. She reminded me of God’s Word, telling me that the first step I needed to take was to seek first the Kingdom of God, and all these other things would be added.

I realized that I had put God aside, expecting things to work out on their own, but they didn’t.

Through her encouragement, I was drawn back to the Word and to prayer. Since then, I have a testimony: I have truly seen the hand of God in my family and my children.

God has done amazing work in my child, who is now a champion for environmental conservation. She has even met the President and the First Lady of Kenya, with whom she is working to champion environmental sustainability.

We are not entirely there yet, but we continue to trust the process, believing that God has even greater things in store for us.

Kayi

Southern Togo

My name is Kayi. I’m a veteran of the United States Army, and I’m honored to share a few words about someone very special to me- Jojo.

Jojo and I first met during Family Day at the end of Basic Combat Training. From the moment we crossed paths, we clicked.

We discovered we had the same Military Occupational Speciality (MOS), which meant we were headed to the same school. We became roommates during our training and quickly grew inseparable.

During that time, I was preparing to enter active duty as a single mother of two daughters. It was a difficult season, full of uncertainty. Jojo stood by me, not just as a friend, but as a sister. I remember her praying for me, specifically, that I would be assigned a duty station close to home so I could find the support I needed for my girls.

And then, it happened. I was assigned to a duty station in my home state, something many service members hope for but don’t always get. It was a blessing I’ll never forget.

Since that day, Jojo has become like an older sister to me. In fact, she shares the same birthday as my younger sister, which feels like no coincidence at all, just another sign that God placed her in my life for a reason.

I’m beyond grateful for her presence, her prayers, and her friendship.

Esiri

Abuja, Nigeria.

My name is Esiri, and I’m testifying to the glory of the Lord for what He has done in my life.

About six or seven years ago, I was chatting with my aunt, Jojo, when she told me she had a dream of me moving to the United States. I laughed it off and told her she was teasing me because at that point in my life, it didn’t seem possible. But she asked me to take a screenshot of our chat and keep it, so when it eventually happens, I would have it as a form of reference.

I took a screenshot of the chat like she said. To the glory of God, I am currently in the US.

Mentoria

Pyeongtaek-si, South Korea.

You have made me into the woman I am today. To always do the right thing, even when no one is watching, and to have morals and values, because you never know who you run into. To enjoy life, no matter your circumstances or where you come from.

I am thankful for the wisdom you have given me and the help you have provided for me. You encouraged me to start college classes, and now I have bagged my Associates Degree and moving on to greater things.

You gave me financial guidance and walked me through my transition from the military.

Today, I am blessed because you chose to Love God and in turn love me.

Janelle

Kingston, Jamaica.

The day I met you, August 25, 2023, was the best day of my life. You changed me for the better.

When I met you, I was lost, hopeless, and angry, but your prayers helped me overcome a painful heartbreak.

You reintroduced me to church, and because of you, I now have a relationship with God. I gave my life to Him, and I haven’t looked back.

I’ve met many Christians in my life, but none compare to you. I had never met anyone who could truly convince me to surrender my life to Christ.

You always told me that I would be great and that whatever I touch would multiply. My finances have multiplied, and to this day, I no longer feel the pain of hunger.

You told me I would leave the Army in October 2023, and by May 11, 2024, I was officially separated. You said to me in February not to worry about my USCIS citizenship because I would hear back in a week, and sure enough, by February 27, I received my interview date.
